This week in the life of Daudi and Adair...

"Hey mom, I'm Dr. Prince" (our dentist)

Teaching Adair everything she needs to know about re-building cars! And she's SO interested too, in really ANYTHING her big brother does.

'Yogi in training' Jen, this one's for you ;0) You like my yoga swing?

Daddy's BIG little helper

Today was Saturday and a 'work on the car' day for Jarv and Daudi. So, I thought I better share this funny little moment of the day: They were doing wiring, and Daudi was sitting on the floor of the car, shining a flashlight up underneath the dash looking at the mangle of wires going in and out of the fuse box to the instruments, etc. He was studying quite intently for a few minutes and this is their conversation.

Jarv - "what do you see, Daudi?"
Daudi - "I see a FEW ISSUES here..."
Jarv - "what's the issue?"
Daudi - " look daddy", and he picks out one wire out of 50 that is not connected to something "LOOK this is an issue!"

Helpful sort isn't he? ;0) Daddy was very proud of his little helper!

Adair's yoga poses

Our daughter is very flexible and can often be seen in many and various positions such as these. She can actually do the full splits, but its hard to catch because whenever she sees the camera she makes an immediate bee-line for it. Anyway, you get the idea. I have on occasion actually found her asleep in her crib folded right in half with her head resting on her legs. Hmm, not really what I would find a comfortable sleeping position, but whatever.

And, one of Daudi's...
Very tricky, indeed!

However, he's not quite as graceful as his little sister and often ends a day looking something like this.

Workin' away

Here are the mechanics, hard at it. The car is running and almost drivable now! Just needs a few things put back in, like SEATS and doors...nothing too major :0) All the hard work is done anyway. Daudi has been quite the little helper and is very proud of himself about it.

On a side note- the hat is Daudi's very favorite, he wears it EVERYWHERE, and gets many compliments on it, and the odd guy trying to steal it. Kind of a novelty in the grocery stores here, I guess :0)

Today is the first time...

Adair stood herself up on her own two feet, WITHOUT any help or support. We have Gina and Kelsey for witnesses this afternoon and she did it again for Daddy when he got home from work. I think she just can't wait to walk around in her cute little pink maryjane crocs that I pulled out of the closet yesterday! :0)

April already!

Isn't it interesting how fast we know time flies by and yet we're always surprised when we stop to think about it.

Just a quick update...
I wanted to put this one on of Adair's hair, its growing so nicely, almost to braiding length :0) I like how her hair is soft and fine like mine and Daudi's is coarser, the same texture as Jarv's.

A week ago or so Kelsey came over to play while her mom had an appointment, so the kids had lots of fun together.

Stopping for a freezie break

And...Daudi was so proud of his BEARD! (I know he's been appearing in this shirt a lot lately, its his favorite one, Aunty Jen, if you see this)
