A little road trip
Well, a long road trip actually. We went out to BC for Grandma's 80th birthday party a couple weeks ago. It was fun, 4 days of driving though, its a long ways from this home! We stopped at the Enchanted Forest near Revelstoke for the kids, on the way out. It was lots of fun, a fairytale land in a real forest :0)

We are heavily into the renovations here (the littler house on this farm), every spare minute. Slowly but surely we'll get there. We've come quite a ways since this picture, but not ready to move in yet.
Anyway...our first meal in our house. Do you like the kitchen? :0)

Daudi turns 4
This year Daudi wanted a pirate birthday party, he's been talking about it for months.
Here's the little pirate himself. Somedays 'pirate' describes him to a tee...
About that house...
Its been more than a month since the last post, and not much progress has been made on the house. In fact, the project is on hold for now due to factors of rain and wet ground in which the concrete trucks cannot get near enough. About a month ago, the digging was completed and the footings all formed up ready to pour. Concrete was on its way...when, the pumper truck showed up and informed us that the ground was way to soft for the trucks to get near. Indeed it was, so, this is what happened to the cement that day...
